The marginalization of the engineers’ new graduates from the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC)

The KPC’s engineers’ new graduates complain of marginalization and deliberate exclusion, and face a systematic campaign to exclude them from their work, in preparation for its privatization.

The sector’s unions supported the engineers’ new graduates, considering them as the provider of the labour market energy, vitality and bright ideas, and confirmed that their employment is the first important step towards the reform of the labour market in Kuwait.

According to reports and data from the Audit Bureau, the percentage of national manpower is very low in oil companies, which emphasizes the need to take this fact into account, in order to strengthen the role of national employment in those companies, in the most dangerous sector, that is subjected to many occupational risks.
