Tunisia: Transport trade unionists summoned by special brigade

The convocations concern trade unionists from the transport sector who recently organised protests.

The General Federation of Transport organised a regional strike on 2 January in Tunis. The strike affected metro and bus traffic and was held to denounce the delay in the payment of salaries and allowances.

The federation had also issued a strike notice in the air, land and maritime transport sectors to denounce the government’s policies towards public enterprises.
