Who we are

It aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Arab trade union movement to face the current challenges it faces due to the ongoing austerity measures and the adopted structural adjustment policies, and to advance the decent work agenda. The course will cover issues such as social contracts between workers and governments; labor market flexibility; shrinking public sector employment with slow gains in the private sector; Growing inequalities, as well as rising unemployment and informality of employment.
