Yemen: The syndicate of journalists calls for the release of kidnapped journalists and cancellation of death sentences against others

The Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate has denounced the repression of journalists, some of whom are still being held in prisons controlled by Houthi militias. The Syndicate also called for the cancellation of the death sentences passed on journalists Abdel Khaleq Omran, Tawfiq el-Mansouri, Akram el-Walidi and Harith Hamid. It also warned about the state of the health of journalist Tawfiq el-Mansouri, who is being held by the Houthis, demanding that he be transferred to hospital for treatment.
