IOM reports significant increase in irregular migrants in Libya

In the 41st edition of its Libya Displacement Monitoring Programme update for February, March and April, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced that 694,788 irregular migrants from over 41 countries are present in Libya, spread over more than 100 municipalities.

Yemen: IOM reported the increase of migrants and the need to protect them

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) stated that the number of migrants arriving in Yemen in 2022 began to increase again, reaching about 25,000 migrants in the first four months of 2022. Yemen is a major transit point on the migration route from the Horn of Africa to Saudi Arabia, despite the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis.
