Rising Global Inequalities: ITUC Advocates for a New Social Contract for Migrant Workers

The latest report on Global Trends by UNHCR, published in June 2023, revealed that 108.4 million people were forcibly displaced worldwide in 2022. This increase of 19 million people compared to the end of 2021 is equivalent to the population of Ecuador, the Netherlands, or Somalia. This increase occurs in a world plagued by inequalities and discrimination.
