The Arab Trade Union Confederation Participates in the Second World Summit for Social Development

The Arab Trade Union Confederation is taking part, with a delegation of 15 members, in the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha from 3 to 6 November.

This participation comes within the framework of defending the trade union position paper on the social question at the global level, which was developed by the International Trade Union Confederation in consultation with its member organizations.

The Arab trade union delegation also took part in a number of seminars and discussion panels held on the sidelines of the Summit, to ensure that trade union perspectives are effectively conveyed across all platforms.
