Athens and Cairo have agreed to send 5,000 Egyptian seasonal workers to work in the agricultural sector in Greece.

Faced with the increase in migratory flows and following the conflict between France and Italy over the reception of migrants, the interior ministers of the European Union (EU) states will hold an emergency meeting on Friday 25 November.
