The Free Confederation of Mauritanian Workers demanded the implementation of the protocol of agreement stipulating the permanent recruitment of 2,500 porters, after the original list of 5,560 people was liquidated.

Many trade unions have recently announced their rejection of two bills submitted to the Algerian Parliament. The first bill is on the exercise of the trade union right and the establishment of professional associations. The second one addresses the right to strike and professional disputes.
